Community Outreach

In late 2002 American Premiere Inc contacted the Clark County School District to find out how we could be more involved with a local school. Through the School-Community Partnership Program, American Premiere Inc. and Cahlan Edison Elementary School joined the Focus School Project. The Focus School Project matches businesses with at-risk schools to assist the students, teachers, and staff through mentoring, reading, enrichment, and equipment assistance.

To date some of the events/opportunities American Premiere has sponsored have been providing readers to individual students, hockey and baseball games, graduation ceremonies, supplied backpacks for every child in the school at the start of the year, International Festival, Career Day, sweatshirts for every child, and annual holiday party for the teachers.

Outdoor classroom seating for the Special Needs children (once a dirt pit under an metal overhead canopy; now park grade benches on a cement slab (cement, labor for cement and benches donated by T&R Painting & Drywall)
